The Office of Public Finance (OPF) manages a multi-billion-dollar municipal debt portfolio, oversees the issuance of new debt secured by property taxes, special taxes and general fund sources. Additionally, OPF initiates the City’s debt policies and procedures and provides technical expertise for the preparation and monitoring of the City’s Ten-Year Capital Plan. Debt management includes compliance with contractual bond covenants, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) acts, U.S. Treasury regulations and IRS rules for tax-exempt securities.


We are seeking a Debt Specialist to help manage OPF’s growing portfolio of debt obligations and districts.
